Welcome To My New Cheese

So here’s where I've landed. SquareSpace. Is it fundamentally different from my old host at WordPress? Not really. I’m still getting used to the Easter egg hunt of how to navigate the “user experience.” It will take a while for me to sort out the kinks. But at least I get a clean slate. Tabula rasa. And it only took 47 easy steps to transfer my domain name to the new spot. My cheese has officially been moved. We’ll see how it goes.

The past five years of Granola Shotgun content will not survive. Shrug. It’s just a blog. It was never meant to be chiseled in stone. The internet is promoted as a vast store of knowledge, but it’s ephemeral. It’s not built to last. We pretend its contents will endure, but it’s all just little electric pulses suspended in the ether. In the fullness of time it will all fade away. I’m okay with that. I won’t be around forever either.

Many of my past articles were re-posted elsewhere over the years and may still be out there. Feel free to scour the Infobahn for residual tidbits on the side of the fiber optic highway.

For now I still have my collection of photos that I’ll summon up as needed. New thought stylings will be presented. Thanks for following me on this continuing adventure.
